Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026
Engineering documents are primarily kept on your computer. Account and access records support sign-in, trial usage, and subscriptions. Optional Drive access is separate from Google Sign-In.
1. Who operates the app
SECURE Measurement Assistant is operated by Rajeev Kumar Das. This policy covers the desktop application, its account and licensing services, and this informational website. Contact rajeevkumardas7@gmail.com for privacy questions or deletion requests.
2. Information we handle and why
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google account identifier and verified email; basic profile details if provided during sign-in | Authenticate your account and identify your access entitlement. Google handles your Google password; we do not receive it. |
| Trial completion count, completed-task identifiers, account status, and access expiry timestamps | Apply trial limits, restore access status, and manage subscription or complimentary access. |
| Payment-link, transaction and reference identifiers, verification status, and payment timestamps | Match verified payments to an account and activate the correct access period. |
| Estimates, PDFs, spreadsheets, measurements, and saved workflow progress | Perform the engineering workflow. These are primarily stored locally; the licensing service is not intended to store their contents. |
| Support correspondence and technical request information | Respond to requests, maintain service operation, and investigate errors or misuse. |
3. Google Sign-In and optional Drive access
Sign-in requests basic identity permissions: OpenID and email, with profile information only where used by the application. Google Drive access is optional and is not granted by signing in alone. Where a Drive feature is available and you choose to enable it, the intended permission is drive.file, limited to files you select for the app or create with it. It is used only for your requested file actions, such as opening or saving a document. We do not request access to all files in your Drive for this purpose.
Information obtained through Google APIs is used to provide the features you request, not for advertising, sale, or training generalized AI models. Our handling of Google API data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. Local files and cloud copies
Keep backups of your local documents. If you choose an optional cloud feature or send a document to support, that specific transfer is separate from local processing. Files you save to your Google Drive remain in your Google account until you remove them. Removing app access does not automatically delete those files.
5. Payments and service providers
Google provides identity verification and any enabled Drive service. Razorpay processes supported payments and receives the email and payment reference needed to associate a payment with your account. The licensing service retains access and payment-status records; full card details, banking credentials, and payment authentication secrets are handled by the payment provider, not this website. Hosting providers may process IP addresses and request logs to serve pages and operate the account service.
We disclose information only as needed to provide these services, respond to your authorized requests, meet legal obligations, or protect against fraud and abuse. We do not sell Google user data or share it for targeted advertising.
6. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local files remain under your control and can be removed from your device. We retain account, trial, and subscription records while needed to provide access, prevent repeated misuse of trials, and resolve payment issues. Records required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained after account closure, only for those purposes.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data, email rajeevkumardas7@gmail.com from the email associated with your account. We may verify ownership before acting. We will explain any records that must be retained. Do not send passwords, payment PINs, or one-time codes.
You can revoke Google permissions through your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself erase local documents, Drive copies, or records subject to retention obligations.
7. Website and security
This static website has no account form, payment form, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts added by us. Hosting infrastructure may keep operational logs. We use access controls and secure service connections to protect information, but no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device, backups, and signed-in browser sessions.
8. Changes and contact
We will publish policy updates here with a revised effective date. Material changes to Google data access require appropriate notice and consent. Questions: rajeevkumardas7@gmail.com.
